My client is now urgently seeking an Electrical Technician for the Test Operations team. You'll be integral in testing various components like propulsion, batteries, and electronics in our Laboratory Test & Experimental division.

Responsibilities:

  • Select and procure electrical parts and components and prepare technical documentation.
  • Assemble electrical equipment, integrate switchgear into test benches, and assist with instrumentation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Provide feedback for process improvement, troubleshoot issues, support root cause analysis, and assist with administrative tasks to enhance team and facility functionality.

Requirements:

  • Qualification as an electronics technician in industrial, operational, or automation technology, or a degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field, with additional experience in electrical systems up to 1 kV DC and high-power batteries for automotive applications preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Low Voltage Directive, Machinery Directive, and relevant electrical standards (e.g., DIN EN 50191, DIN EN 61010-1, DIN EN 61439).
  • Familiarity with safety controls and sensor applications (e.g., strain gauges, acceleration sensors, thermocouples).
  • Good command of English, with German skills beneficial.
