The company is seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to both their internal and external service users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to internal and external teams via phone, email, or in person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and application issues promptly and efficiently
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in various systems and applications
  • Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain network infrastructure
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates and backups
  • Occasional out of hours support

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in a similar IT support role, specifically working in a Software Development environment
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting applications, software, and network issues
  • Familiarity with Salesforce as a ticketing tool
  • Understanding of SQL and database management concepts
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ITIL experience is desirable
