Role Summary
Due to ongoing growth and the strategic importance of their projects, our Client is seeking an experienced LSA (Logistic Support Analysis) Engineer. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, maintainability, and supportability of marine projects. It offers a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to high-profile marine projects over an extended period, shaping the future of maritime propulsion technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive LSA documentation for marine applications, addressing spare parts requirements and stock management
- Define repair procedures, maintenance intervals, and special tooling needs
- Coordinate the creation of test and inspection documentation
- Design transport and storage strategies to optimise logistics and safety
- Perform failure rate analysis, including reliability assessments such as MTBF and MTTR
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate logistic support considerations into project planning and execution
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise in creating and implementing Logistic Support Analyses (LSA)
- In-depth knowledge of MIL-STD-1388 (USA) and ASD S3000L (Europe) standards
- Demonstrable practical experience gained through multiple industrial engineering projects in relevant sectors
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret failure data and recommend actionable improvements
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with marine engine systems and maintenance requirements
- Experience working within international or multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of supply chain management and spare parts logistics in a maritime environment
