Business Development Director (Land Domain)

 

The opportunity: 

We are looking for a Business Development Director to join our team. As a Business Development Director you will be the face of Elbit Systems UK for our Land customers. This would include engagement with the UK MoD for Land related business development and capture as well as liaison with original manufactures and defence primes for business development opportunities within their business.

 

As a growing business the role of Business Development Director will be hands and we are looking for an individual who enjoys active business development and is excited by the prospect of helping Elbit Systems UK grow over the coming years.  

 

What will you be doing:

 

As a Business Development Director you will be: 

·       Accountable to ESUK VP BD & Marketing for developing business across the Land.

·       Co-ordinating and identifying industry partners to support with Land activity.

·       Key point of contact for the Land domain, influencing customer and industry partners to unite delivery.

·       Working closely with ESUK MarComms teams to produce Land strategy and comms plans.

·       Responsible for horizon scanning across the domain and spotting requirements and opportunities for new business.

 

Skills for success: 

·                Extensive experience in defence sales cycles and methodologies.

·                Experience within Land business development within the UK Defence market.

·                Knowledge of multiple Land HQ’s and frontline command.

·                Experience of UK DEFCONS & Shipley approach.
