Role: C# Engineer

Location: Remote

Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 + private medical, life insurance, flexible/remote working, 27 days holiday (plus BH), pension contributions, annual training budget just for you, profit share scheme & more!

iO are partnered exclusively with a fully funded start up on a mission to provide IT specialists with an easy way to quickly build secure connections between applications, systems, infrastructures or devices - irrespective of the existing network. Effectively, they're there to get rid of the network and make it seem like it almost doesn't exist.

They believe in 'automate everything', and that shows in their products, as well as their development lifecycle. They CI/CD with TeamCity, Docker & Octopus Deploy. Code targets Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS and Android. They host on AWS, Azure and more.

HQ is based in South Wales, but, there is plenty of flexible and remote working on offer. Some sort of presence in the office would be nice but it's not essential. We are open to fully remote applicants based across the UK, and there's even a budget for a co-working space in your city, if you'd like one!

From a technical perspective, we are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in C# .Net (they use .Net 5, .Net Core, ASP.Net Core)
  • Solid understanding of sockets, TCP, UDP and general network packet structure
  • Understanding/experience of <span>

This is a meaty role where you will be able to have an input and a say in the technology used, the roadmaps created as well as the way things should be done.

They're a small team at the moment consisting of the CPO, CTO, a Senior Engineer, and UX/UI - this position gives the opportunity to grow into a Team Leader type role within the next couple of years (if you'd like to head that way) as the team and customer base continues to grow - with more funding coming too!
