iO Associates are currently seeking a Electronics Engineer for a 3-month contract, to design, layout and test PCB's. This is a stream of contract work, and therefore likely to extend beyond the initial 3 months once this project is complete.

Products my client manufacture are used world-wide within the energy sector, ensuring supply chain standards are met. This is a very important contract to the client, where they will look for a self-motivated Electronics Engineer who can work and develop current boards whilst effectively commuting with the teams.

The contract is offered on a remote working basis, but with an occasional trip to Manchester to attend meetings.

The skillset required is:

• PCB Design/Layout
• Microcontroller experience (PIC / ARM / ST)
• Communication protocols (Bluetooth, USB, UART, I2C etc)
• Analogue / Digital Electronics
• Firmware
