Customer Success Manager / Account Manager | Defence |

Role: Customer Success Manager - Defence & Government Clients

Salary: £50,000 - 65,000

We are working with a UK based defence SME that are looking for a customer success manager to join their defence sales and tender team.

The role will see you working with a number of current clients across Government & Defence to ensure that their product implementation is going seamlessly and liaise with them on improvements. You will also be involved in forward sales and looking for opportunities to expand product portfolio within Government and defence clients and working with the bid and tender team to bring these together.

The business themselves specialise in the development of data, decision making and AI/ML products and have partnered with the likes of IBM, Rolls Royce & AWS on bringing new innovation and products to market.

This would suit an individual who has great customer relationship management and has worked with the defence community providing customer success or BD activity.

The role will be based 95%+ remotely with requirements for travel to customers on occasion but the majority of work will be able to be completed at home.

Skills;

  • Account management experience / fantastic stakeholder engagement
  • A good technical understanding of defence OR Government products
  • A self motivator with an eye for business opportunities and new relationships
  • Experience of tender and bid writing would be a real bonus.
