Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations - Remote Based

Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations wanted by 'technology driven' financial business.

• Location - Remote Based.
• Six-Figure Base Salary + Company Benefits.

As Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations you will be accountable for service levels of IT Infrastructure, for both internal operations & engineering as well as customer platforms.

Being Head of IT Ops; you will also be accountable for the strategic direction and execution of changes and support, whilst having full autonomy to build/form teams, dealing with success and managing failure.

Regarding management, you will manage cross-functional teams of IT Support Engineers and Infrastructure & Platform Engineers, with the purpose of leveraging cloud technologies.

The successful candidate will promote & feed into key company beliefs, promoting people, mentoring ands hiring across multiple experience levels.

Customer focus and experience will help, along with the ability of bringing stakeholders through the journey with you.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

• Capable of leading global people managers & technology teams, whilst managing stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of cloud computing.
• Experience of fully owning software delivery lifecycles.
• Capable of delivering software within regulated/controlled environments.
• Capable of using best practice to improve processes, services, or products.
• Capable of making commercially viable decisions and technology judgements.
• Experienced within risk management processes, defining policies and supplier management.
• The ability to work independently or delegate, in solving problems.
