Junior Software Engineer

Role: Trainee Programmer & Database Administrator

Location: Remote - ideally someone based in London

Salary: £23,000 - £40,000 DOE + fantastic training programme, clear progression, pension, 25 days holiday

iO Associates are partnered with a pretty exciting Financial Services that are growing its IT department!

You will get the chance of working on their large estate of in-house applications that require maintenance and enhancements from time to time that sees their teams getting stuck in with tools and technologies like:

• Desktop application design, testing and deployment - will be moving to cloud next year
• (Beneficial) ASP.Net
• SQL (Database administration)
• (Beneficial) JavaScript

We are looking for a Trainee Programmer & Database Administrator.

You'll initially be put through some fantastic training this will consist of being trained by the Analyst Programmer to assist with all areas of database management and programming.

Their in-house software solutions are built on the .NET Framework using Windows Forms. Data is housed in SQL Server. Development tool of choice is Visual Studio, with visual basic being the preferred language.

They are also looking to move on to the cloud this year where you will be trained and assist with development while also undergoing comprehensive software engineering training program.
