iO have partnered up with one of our best clients to give the opportunity for a motor technician to join their team. They're passionate about what they do and are one of the most successful companies in the UK.

They are looking for a skilled individual to assist in building the next generation of Digital Motors in Malmesbury.

The job:

• Build precision prototype motors and sub-assemblies following defined processes to give repeatable and reproducible results.
• Use precision measurement equipment and accurately record critical build and test data -Participate in gauge R&R studies.
• Work to a tight schedule, priorities workload and deliver on time.
• Following processes to carry out testing on prototype motors.
• Support others in preparing and implementing motors into testing facilities.

What they want from you:

• Ability to interpret and interrogate engineering drawings and documentation.
• Experience of complex / skilled assembly or maintenance work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to convey information in an appropriate and concise manner.
• Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Display a basic competence of MS Word and Excel.
