iO Associates is proud to have partnered with a global Tier 1 aerospace business, who are looking to hire a Senior Engineering Manager to lead development activities of their avionics Hardware team.

Our client are keen to talk to experienced managers, as well as Senior/Lead Engineers who are experienced leading technical teams and looking to take on personnel management responsibilities in addition.

Your Responsibilities

• Development of commercial & product strategy within the hardware team
• Commercial and technical involvement in engineering bids
• Personnel management; individual performance & career development plans, tracking skills development, disciplinary management
• Overall responsibility for technical direction, budget management, scheduling, and performance

What you bring

• Experience working in a highly regulated industry e.g. aerospace, automotive, space, defence, medical devices
• Experienced providing technical and or personnel management to engineers within embedded systems
• Engineering background preferably within electronics

Non Essential Experience

• Experience working in aerospace with a strong knowledge of DO254 development & verification processes
• German language skills
