Calling all Geophysicists local to the Oxford area.

I have an exciting new Geophysical/ Geotechnical opportunity with a Consultancy Client in the Oxford Area. There are two team positions available for a mid to senior level Geophysicist with experience in any of the following: Mapping geology, groundwater, infilled ground, natural and man-made voids, infrastructure integrity, pavement and trackbed construction/condition, landfill characterisation, depth to bedrock, rock rippability, soil stiffness, archaeology, unexploded ordnance, buried services.

Some of the company's techniques include:

• Seismics including surface wave (MASW and CSWS), refraction, reflection, and borehole (crosshole and downhole).
• Electrical methods including resistivity (ERI and soundings), self-potential and IP, and electromagnetic (fixed frequency, broadband multifrequency, TDEM, GPR, RFL).
• Ground penetrating radar (GPR) including a range of impulse, stepped frequency and frequency modulated continuous wave systems deployed as single, dual, or high-density arrays.
• Magnetics including total field and gradiometer sensor arrays.
• Microgravity

In-house training will be provided for the company specific equipment which is world renowned and includes pieces of technology that are exclusive to this company alone. Civil engineering, geotechnics and geophysical experience will all be relevant.
