Senior Software Engineer

Location - Fully Remote

Salary up to 70K

We are working with a technology consultancy who specialise in the design & marketing sector. They work with clients to develop products, markets and ventures that will change things for the better. Each of their engineers, designers, researchers and technologists bring their own expertise to the team and wider business. As a close-knit team, they use their own individual skills to solve challenging problems, find the right answers and then build the appropriate solutions.

You will now be joining them as an additional senior software engineer, joining a collaborative and progressive team - Good news, this is also a fully remote position!

The ideal candidate will be a strong minded individual and who has experience using technologies such as JavaScript, React and UI design in a commercial setting. Experience with Node.JS and React Native would also be beneficial.

As a senior software engineer you will be required to work closely with the UX team, stakeholders and product owners to spec, build, test and deploy new and existing projects. You will also be considering what the user needs are and transforming those needs into usable features.

Essential skills

• Strong software development skills
• Experience using JavaScript
• User Interface design experience
• Experience with JS frameworks such as React or Vue.JS
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS

Beneficial skills

• Experience with React Native
• Experience with Node.JS
• Experience with Typescript
• Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch, InVision or similar
