Senior Technical Security Manager | £65,000 | Remote Working (UK Based ONLY)

iO Associates are paired with an industry-leading payroll solutions provider who are on the lookout for a Senior Technical Security Manager who will sit above the technical security team and lead on all department improvements within the cyber security space. The position will see the successful candidate being given full autonomy to shape the security structure as they see fit, utilising state-of-the-art tools to best bolster the security posture within the organisation.

The ideal candidate will be experienced within all aspects of technical security as a specialist, including red teaming, gap analysis, penetration testing and digital forensics etc. There is a lot of room to grow within this position, highlighted by the recent team development and expansion over the pandemic period, so we are looking for a candidate who has people management and soft skills required to mentor and grow a team for themself. This said, we actively encourage candidates who are looking for the next step-up in their security career.

Essential:

• Must have extensive cyber-security knowledge across multiple practices, including Threat Management, Security Operations, Testing etc.
• Knowledge of security frameworks e.g. ISO27001
• Confident gathering and analysing threat intelligence from multiple sources and disseminate the information effectively to affected stakeholders
• Possess excellent communication skills, as management will be key to your success in this role
