2nd Line Engineer

iO Associates are working with an established and growing company with a huge presence across the UK. They are on the lookout for an 2nd Line Engineer to help them in the continued growth. This role will primarily focus on project work alongside some BAU, and will have rapid progression into a 3rd line role.

This is a remote role however due to the occasional travel to offices the candidate needs to be based in and around Bristol, Bath or Swindon.

This role is being released a a 6 month FTC with the intention of going permanent. It is the perfect opportunity for someone looking for rapid progression into a Third Line role.

Role: 2nd Line Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + benefits

Location: Remote (with some South-West travel)

Contract Type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

** Due to the occasional travel the successful candidate must have a valid driving license and own a car **

Some of the Technical Experience required (you do not need to have all of them):

• VMWare
• HPE Blade
• Nimble Storage
• Windows Server
• Exchange
• Aruba networking or CISO
• Citrix desktop
• Office 365

This role will involve a mixture of project and BAU work, initially starting with an Exchange online migration.

Experience in all the above technology isn't manatory. Instead this company is looking for someone who is passionate about technology and eager to learn.

The successful candidate needs to be capable in onprem tech and cloudwise exchange online. In addition to this the candidate must be willing to get their hands dirty, have the right attitude and be reliable.
