Contract Embedded Software Engineer

Embedded Software Engineer | 6 months | Bristol (Embedded C, ARM, RTOS)

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for one of our customers based in Bristol. This is a new role, which has come about due to increased workloads. This will be an initial 6-month project, and requires someone who has strong Microprocessor and RTOS experience, ideally within a safety critical environment, but not essential

Location: Bristol

Rate: £40-£45 per hour

Length: 6 months +

Start Date: ASAP

Key Skills:

· Embedded C, Assembler

· ARM Processors

· Real Time Operating Systems, ideally in FreeRTOS, OpenRTOS, SafeRTOS and/or Linux

· Embedded Systems Design

Desirable Skills:

· Safety Software Development IEC 61508, DO 178B/C, FDA 510(k) submissions

· Embedded security

· ARM, MIPS and Power Architectures

· Multicore

· Networking and Wifi

· IoT Systems
