iO Associates are currently seeking an embedded software engineer with a strong Linux and C++ background for a new 3 month initial contract. This is a stream of contract work on a new, subsea based development programme which has just had official sign off and will likely extend.

You, the successful embedded Linux engineer, will be working at the forefront of this project working specifically on the embedded hardware product development so experience with I/O, interfacing to sensors would be desirable (e.g. I2C).

Skills required:

• Embedded Linux - (RT patch or QNX)
• Real-time multi-threaded, multi-core system experience
• C++ 14
• Middleware such as DDS, ROS, etc
