Cyber Security / Infrastructure Engineer - SC Cleared - Remote - 6-Month Contract

iO Associates are currently looking for a Cyber Security / Infrastructure Engineer with active SC Clearance to join my client for an intial 6-month contract role offering a competitive day rate for an immediate start. This role can be done remotely but you must be based in the UK. This is a long term project so this role will more than likely extend over a long duration.

You will be implementing security protocols around emails and making sure data and user access are secure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with information security frameworks (ISO27001, NIST CSF, Cyber Essentials, OWASP), security analysis tools (e.g. SIEM, VAS, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, IAM, NAC, patch management, anti-malware) and have good exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

You must have experience with the following:

• Experience of the ISO27001 standard and of conducting technical audit.

• Experience of authoring technical papers and how-to guides
• Defining security requirements and design solutions, providing guidance and direction related to security technologies
• Performing analysis on security collected data and test results
• Identifying and implementing security design and preparing and maintaining engineering and security related documentation
• Must have active SC Clearance
