Graduate/Junior Level Java Developer

Location: Bristol (with hybrid remote working)

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000

Are you an IT graduate looking to get your foot on the lucrative software development ladder? Our client is offering graduate and junior level Java Developers the opportunity to do just that.

We're working with a well-established Financial Technology company operating in the financial sector providing best-in-class solutions by using the most advanced technologies, both helping their customers with their digital strategies.

You'll be working alongside experienced developers, learning and working on the software development life cycle and building efficient programs and systems that serve user needs. This will include gathering initial requirements, design, development, testing and configuration through to deployment. Whilst also maintaining existing functions and both writing and testing code.

Requirements for the position are:

• BSc (Honours) Computer Science or similar degree with a significant computing bias/ Commercial java experience.
• Strong object-oriented Java development skills
• An independent problem solver with excellent communication skills

This position has very flexible working patterns with the office located in Bristol, travel into the office will be necessary on occasion.
