iO Associates are working with a healthcare company that has an urgent requirement for an Infrastructure Manager. This role will see you taking charge of the delivery of vital infrastructure improvements and projects across multiple sites around the UK, and is the perfect opportunity for someone wanting to secure a role swiftly at a difficult time.

Based in central Newcastle, you will be managing a small team that will grow with the company that provide an essential and specialised service for those with varying needs. Working with a client that has gone from strength to strength in the last few years provides specialised healthcare units.

You will be providing essential management of the infrastructure both in terms of tech and the support engineers you will be working with. If you don't have much management experience yet, this would be a great opportunity to take the step up into a management role having come from a strong technical background.

Responsibilities:

  • Design major infrastructure developments across the business
  • Planning and implementing changes to the infrastructure
  • Traveling occasionally to external sights
  • Produce and Test Business continuity and Disaster recovery
  • Liaising with stakeholders to build new, and maintain existing, relationships

Experience:

  • 5+ years Infrastructure Engineering experience (2nd and 3rd line roles)
  • Implementing IT best practice using ITIL and ISO 27001
  • Experience being part of the development of team members
  • Infrastructure management (ideally enterprise-scale)
  • Developing and working alongside a team on infrastructure engineers
