iO Associates have partnered with a global FMCG business based in Weybridge in the search for their next Insights Analyst.

The company have won multiple awards for their innovation and sustainability initiatives and are looking for ambitious liked minded people.

In this role you will be part of the Category development and consumer insights team. Reporting directly to the Head of Insights, you will be developing and managing sources of ad hoc and continuous insight data, to drive insights from consumer, category, market and shopper research.

You will deliver timely and accurate insights to provide understanding of consumer issues, category, market and shopper behaviour, thereby maximising the effectiveness of the marketing and sales teams.

You will be responsible for monthly performance tracking of the key brands and you will be using your insatiable curiosity about the customer to understand the consumer and ultimately bring them (the consumer) to the heart of the business, all the while ensuring your analysis has relevant, tangible and actionable recommendations.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in an insights/research role in an FMCG environment, either client-side or agency-side
  • Bachelor's Degree - Qualified
  • A track record of delivering timely and accurate strategic insight and making actionable recommendations in an analytical role
  • Experience of working in partnership with relevant stakeholder teams (Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Category Insights)
  • Communications and influencing - present and persuade in both written and verbal forms to internal and external stakeholders
  • Cross functional team working - demonstrate the ability to build relationships and work as part of a team to achieve shared team and company goals
  • IT and digital skills - competent in Microsoft Office and advanced skills in agency or retailer specific software (e.g. Nielsen Answers, Dunnhumby, Kantar Worldpanel Online, UTAB, etc.)

The office is based in Weybridge, however remote working is available, most of team come into the office once or twice a week and meet up each month for team meetings and social events to maintain the team spirit.

In return you will receive a salary between £30,000-£36,000 along with benefits including pension scheme, 25 days holiday, healthcare cover and a product allowance.
