IT Support Officer

Working with a large Engineering Consultancy we are a seeking an experience ICT Support Officer based in Seriang, Belgium.

You'll be apart of the large ICT department, working in the "Helpdesk" team in charge of operational support for users of the global group.

The environment counts:

• Nearly 3,000 users spread over more than 60 sites in 7 countries
• 2 main datacenters in Belgium with more than 300 servers
• WAN integrating more than 50 sites

Role Type: Contract

Duration: 3 months with rolling extensions

Location: Seriang, Belgium with Remote working

* Whilst there is plenty of scope for remote working, they would like candidate to be commutable to the offices, working a few days a week and when it's safe to do so in the office on a frequent basis.

Rate/Pay: Circa €250 per day

Languages: French (fluent) English (very good) - Reading & Writing

Experience:

• Computer technician or equivalent experience
• Experience of at least 5 years in a similar function; ideally within an internationally distributed organisation
• Fluency in French and very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Good knowledge of Office 2003, 2016, 365
• Good knowledge of Windows 7 Pro, 10 Pro
• Good knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals
• Proficiency in managing users, computers, groups in Active Directory
• Proficiency in managing email addresses and shared mailboxes in Exchange
• Mastery of Teams, Sharepoint or equivalent
• Strengths: Windows Server, Microsoft Operations Manager, routers and switches databases, ITIL.
