Lead Engineer - Brighton (Partly remote) - £70,000 Per Annum

Working for a Global aerospace and defence company, you will be operating at the forefront of innovation, managing design-based Engineering Development programs, planning and directing the development and application of products through the early stages of the product development life cycle.

The company, based in Brighton, have offices in several locations across the UK and further sites in 9 other countries. Their customers are Worldwide and the company boasts a healthy, growing revenue stream which all stems from the market leading quality and high standards of its employees.

You will be leading project teams of up to 10 multi-disciplinary engineers at a time who will each individually own their piece of the Engineering project and it will be up to you to manage all elements of the Engineering solution delivery from drawings and production through to reliability, verification and testing.

To be successful in this role you will come from a Mechanical Engineering background with a solid understanding of other closely related disciplines (electrical, systems, production).

The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of Aerospace and/or Defence industries, developing solutions to real-time mission critical products such as actuators or
