Well now you can, as I have several opportunities to join a leading household name for hand-held consumer products.

This company are looking to add to their current department of 10 Mechanical Design Engineers and work collaboratively on projects within their multi-disciplined team of 50 people based in Cambridge.

You will get to work on the full product lifecycle of these consumer products and see your designs become reality through prototyping, testing and analysis phases through to manufacture.

As a Lead Engineer, you will liaise with the NPI team to prepare and transfer the products for mass manufacture and assist in the transfer of concept, final design & manufacturing data with suppliers.

You will be working closely with the other department such as electronics and manufacturing, so an appreciation for electro-mechanical products and a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection moulding, die casting, extrusions, sheet metal and various finishing processes will be highly advantageous.
