iO Associates have partnered with an exciting R&D company who are looking to scale up their UK team with the recruitment of several Mechanical Engineers and Senior Mechanical Engineers for their New Product Development department.

The company has recently secured new partnerships and more investment into their technology aimed at the Renewable Energy sector which is providing solutions to zero-carbon emission energy production.

The position will initially be fully remote working, then once they have secured a site in the Bristol area next year, the role will then become hybrid working with a few days a week expected in the office to collaborate with colleagues. You will also get the chance to work from their Central European manufacturing facility (one week in every four) during the build & testing phases of projects to get hands-on with the actual products and see them in action.

To be successful in this role you will need to have strong design and analysis skills as you will be using CAD and performing stress calculations regularly. You will also need to have experience working in a regulated, low-volume production environment (preferably oil & gas) or experience working with different types of electro-mechanical products such as motors, power electronics, or electrical machinery.

For any successful candidate, my client is offering a base salary of £40,000-£60,000 Per Annum as well as an attractive bonus scheme and the opportunity for genuine career progression in this growing organisation.
