Electrical Engineers (Microgrid)

We have an upcoming requirement for an Electrical Engineer to join a growing Sustainable Energy business based in the South West - initially on a contract basis for 6 months.

The right candidate will support all electrical aspects of the projects from detailed design through to FAT, commissioning and in-service support. Ideally you will be someone with a strong design bias who can offer creative client solutions.

You will have a familiarity with LV and MV systems and associated equipment including, power converters, switchgear, protection relays, transformers, cables, and control panels etc. A strong Controls Systems background would also be advantageous.

You will be able to evidence a formal degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, equivalent qualifications or demonstrable electrical power system domain knowledge gained through professional experience.

Also, any project experience in the renewable / sustainable energy sector (wind, solar, tidal) and an understanding of subsea / marine environments would be an advantage.
