Modelling and Validation Engineer
Stafford
Contract - 6 months
£30 - £40 per hour - Negotiable
There is an urgent requirement to come on and work on the customer specifications of a state of the art high-voltage, direct current electric power transmission system. The role requires the successful engineer to define the control system requirements as well as do the plant modelling in simulation tools.
Experience required:
- Power electronics and power systems - ideally HVDC Controls
- Experience design control system requirements
- Modelling and validation simulation tools - Matlab, RSCAD and PSCAD.
- Matlab and Simulink
