Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

iO Associates have partnered with a popular FMCG business based in Barnsley in the search for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team.

The company are longstanding with a solid customer base and is involved in wet manufacturing processes.

In this role you will carry out engineering works on PPMs, across services, machines and all associated equipment, continually looking to minimise downtime. It will include fault finding, attending breakdowns as well as some installation works.

To be successful in this role you will be electrically biased and comfortable working on PLCs, thermoformers, panels, motors, servo control systems as well as 3 phase.

You will have experience of PPM applications and have good interpersonal and organisational skills. You will also come from a manufacturing background, ideally FMCG.

Hours of work will be on a rotating continental caravan shift rota worked on a 3 off, 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on cycle. Daily working hours are 05.30am-17.30pm and 17:30pm-05.30am

The salary including the shift allowance is £44,640 and comes with benefits including:
