Have you been working as a Penetration Tester for 2 or more years? Are you expereinced with Red Team practises? Are you looking for a role that will give you natural progression opportunities - if yes, this is the role for you!

We are working with the UK's leading company in Scientific research and innovation, because of the nature of their projects and the impact they have on life in the UK as a whole, security is a top priority for them. They are currently building out a new security function to cope with the amount of work they have so this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing sector of a highly succesful business, with pathways to leadership and the opportunity to be surronded by some incredibly smart individuals, this is something you'll want to get stuck into.

Experience

· 2-5 years of experience in penetration testing

· Performed two or more of the following roles as a penetration tester:

  • external network penetration testing
  • internal network penetration testing
  • wireless penetration testing
  • web application penetration testing
  • mobile application penetration testing
  • social engineering
  • red teaming
  • non-destructive physical security testing.

· A strong technical knowledge and understanding of mixed-technology environments, include diverse operating systems (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, or Linux), core fundamentals of computers, network hardware, web application languages, administration technologies, authentication mechanisms, and cloud platforms.

· Experience using open source penetration testing tools and frameworks like Metasploit, Burp, Nmap, etc.

· Experience of at least two coding languages such as C++, C#, PHP, AJAX, HTML

· Have performed independent research, testing, or tool development on security issues out of curiosity.
