Production Engineer

£15 per hour

A small, family-feel business in North Wiltshire is looking to add someone to their team that has a solid engineering background and a basic CAD design knowledge.

This new addition will need to be very versatile and willing to "muck-in" with whatever area of the product development process needs help, this will require problem-solving tasks so someone adaptive will be well suited to this role.

Requirements:

• Production engineering bias - problem solving with practical solutions, ability to provide hands on solutions to problems
• Knowledge of manufacturing: Fabrication, Machining, Mouldings / castings / jigs
• Basic understanding of Solidworks
• Customer facing experience
• Quality processes - Lean, 6 sigma

While you will predominantly be based in the company's office in North Wiltshire, there may occasionally be the opportunity to travel with the company to China to help tackle engineering problems with overseas production teams.

This role is being offered as a part-time position with scope for between 20-30 hours per week, they are willing to be flexible around this depending on availability.
