Project Manager (FinTech/Risk) - London/Hybrid
£70,000 - £120,000k per annum (dependant on experience)

Currently hiring for a talented and experienced Project Manager with sound knowledge and experience in risk technology.
This role is responsible for managing various strategic risk technology projects such as FRTB, IBOR transition, Curve analytics etc.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to lead/support initiatives within the strategic risk technology program.
  • Apply a structured methodology to deliver the project through creation/execution of a plan to support adoption of the changes
  • Provide a framework for project implementation and ensure project outcomes are delivered
  • Work with teams to align resource allocation & project funding
  • Stakeholder management including regular status of the program, facilitating various meetings (program kick-off, check points, retrospectives etc.) & Escalations
  • Produce required project documentation (e.g., Business Requirements, Impact Analysis, Gap Analysis, Risks, Issues, Mitigants etc.) highlighting the business needs
  • Validation of metrics and report remediation status for in scope clients to Business Heads and other key stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Project management with minimum 10 years of experience of running regulatory/change initiatives in the global banks and financial firms, including Creation and maintenance of project artefacts, managing RAID items
  • Experience in handling market risk related projects and knowledge of concepts such as VaR, ES, Full revaluation and yield curve is preferred
  • Experience & knowledge of various derivative products across asset classes, market risk regulations such as FRTB is preferred
  • Experience/knowledge in project and change management principles, approaches, methodologies, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle (both Waterfall and Agile)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to coordinate with business and technology stakeholders and team members
  • Ability to work with geographically disbursed teams and management.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to multitask in high pressure environment.


Qualification Required:
Masters or Bachelors (Software Engineering preferred), additional qualification/certification in Finance is desirable. (FRM/CFA)
