Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Nottingham (NG7)
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 DOE


An award-winning embedded systems consultancy based in Nottingham are growing fast and looking to bring an enthusiastic project manager into their exciting organisation.
With a variety of jobs in the pipeline, no two projects will be the same, this is a perfect opportunity for the project manager looking to expand their skills and face new challenges. Providing the business with overall responsibility and commercial success of their projects, this role will involve working within a multi-disciplined team of developers and managers, as well as the wider business.

Your responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Weekly updates with clients on active projects to overview risks, progress, and financials
  • Manage project risks and assumptions
  • Ensure receivables are available as requested and deliverables are met in full, on time
  • Development of the PMO and business system development
  • Report project KPIs weekly to the engineering manager


You will also be responsible for ensuring the team, and business, succeed, meet deadlines, and stay within budget by:

  • Working cross functionally across the Technical Delivery Team and customer projects
  • Providing direction for the business development strategy
  • Actively working towards personal and company operational plans
  • Ensuring maintenance of a consistent, transparent, legally compliant, and ethical approach in all aspects of business
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external customers and suppliers as appropriate



The successful candidate will be expected to control the projects for which they are responsible by maintaining targeted utilisation, forecasting, ensuring both receivables and deliverables are met, and customers are continuously informed.
As well as working on some exciting projects, you will be working in a flat management structure where everyone's opinions and thoughts are heard.
