Digital Project Manager (Client facing)
London/Hybrid
to £50,000 -60,000k pa (dependant on experience) + company benefits

As Digital Project Manager you will manage complex interactive web-based projects to an acceptable level of risk by balancing scope, time, cost, and quality.
As a Project Manager, you will help shape our client's service initially and in time there will be senior roles available in the delivery team as a hierarchy develops. You will be working very closely with Project Management including Account Managers and New Business team.

Main Duties:

  • The Project Management of web application projects, working closely with the development and creative teams on analysis, design, specification, build and testing.
  • Communicating and negotiating effectively with clients and third parties.
  • Production and management of project processes and documentation including:
    • Project initiation
    • Requirements capture
    • Solution, Specification & design
    • The build and completion of tasks
    • Testing and quality management
    • Delivery

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand the brief and drive the project team to create the most compelling digital solution.
  • Coordinate creative and technical staff on your projects and engage and manage third party vendors where required.
  • Work with the production team
  • Drive project delivery through effective use of internal and client status meetings.
  • Partner with other project leaders to lead teams typically of 4-5 people to ensure maximum performance.
  • Assure that projects run to schedule and within budget.
  • Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria.
  • Maintain awareness of the current industry environment that shapes opportunities for client solutions (i.e., news events, trends, mergers, etc.).
  • Develop relationships with, and ensure the appropriate participation of, key client stakeholders and client executives; provide day-to-day project contact for the client on active projects alongside the Account Managers.
  • Manage and control project scope and the change control process.
  • Manage the project financials including project budget in partnership with client services.
  • Monitor and report against project budget and timings to the Account Managers and action with them any change requests and impacts following our change request process.
  • Assist with the development of solutions, proposals, and project scope documentation.
  • Create project plans and costings and agree these with the Account Managers.
  • Assign team leaders for Creative, Technology and Search as required to ensure that there is a responsible party for each area of deliverable on a project.
  • Manage the project and resource for your projects and always minimise risk to success.
  • Liaise directly with clients on active projects to ensure timely delivery of collateral and inputs as well as managing their involvement in the project ensuring timely approvals.
