My client, together with their parent company employs over 15,000 people worldwide and has been leading the innovation of their product category for over 250 years.

Based near Swadlincote, this FMCG company have recently become part of a multi-national and are looking to transition all the procedures and quality standards to be in line with the group. This is where this role comes in. Newly created and supporting the Quality Manager, this office based role will be responsible for the continuous improvement of Food safety management systems through internal audits, non conformance investigations and root cause analysis.

Your role will also include maintaining and storing technical documentation correctly and in line with compliance standards as well as managing the ongoing collection of quality metrics.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Overall work experience of 6+ years of which 2 or more years in a similar position.
• Knowledge on FSSC, ISO, HACCP, and quality management systems. Auditing qualifications would be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of production methods, statutory and regulatory requirements and GMP in manufacturing facilities.
• Good knowledge of product technologies and applications.
• Good knowledge with systems such as SAP and Databases.

In return you will receive a salary between £24,000-£26,000 along with benefits that include:
