iO Associates are currently working with A leading innovator of high throughput, modular phased arrays is looking for a Reliability Engineer to complement the existing Quality Assurance team.
This exciting start-up has been taken over by a leading international communications company who have given them significant investment to expand into the commercial sector.

As part of its progression into the next phase of the company's strategic growth plan, The company is seeking to develop its quality assurance function with an experienced Reliability Engineer. Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager and working closely with the Design, Procurement and NPI teams. The Reliability Engineer will focus on the development and management of the company's reliability program to inform Product Management, Engineering and Customer Service teams and enable them to continually improve our overall product and service offering.

Skills & Knowledge
* Demonstrable experience of reliability engineering to support product development and management through all stages of the product lifecycle, ideally within a systems engineering environment
* Fully conversant with standard reliability analysis techniques including Weibull, fault tree, block modelling, field data analysis, accelerated life testing and user hazard & safety analysis
* Proven ability to undertake fault diagnostics to identify points of failures in products under test
* Experience of the management and oversight of reliability test programs, including the use of external third-party test houses
* Good understanding of problem solving tools and techniques including the application of "Root Cause Corrective Action" methodologies such as 8D or similar
