Senior Commercial / Contracts Officer - Brighton

iO Associates are currently working with a Global Aerospace & Defence company in Brighton in their recruitment for a Senior Commercial / Contracts officer.

It couldn't be a better time to join this business as they have grown from 160 to over 200 people in the last 3 years owing to a continued requirement for products within the Antenna's & Telemetry systems division.

The company design and develop "off the shelf" products but, more recently, have moved into a more "built for spec" strategy. With this, there has come a need to develop the commercial contracts team so they can effectively engage with potential clients ahead of beginning any engagement.

Work closely with technical heads and project managers, you're responsibilities will be the negotiation of commercial terms and development of bids for tender, this will be a diverse and challenging role but you will be supported by a great team and supportive culture.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have demonstrable experience in the following fields:

• Commercial Contract Management
• Negotiation; Bid Process; Commercial Acumen
• Experience in the Defence or Aerospace sector would also be an advantage

The company offer a good benefits package and a competitive rate of £55,000 - £65,000 along with great career prospects, with this role looking to move into a managerial position in the coming years.
