Senior Cyber Support Engineer - Remote within the UK only

Our client is the leading name in cyber security in the UK and abroad. Those with military or similar background in terms of discipline will be looked upon favourably.

You will be in the front-line of support, responding to and reporting on critical customer events. You will interact directly with both customers and the software development team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities of the role:

  • Dealing with escalation of critical issues
  • Working closely with our development teams to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions are delivered to customers
  • Proactively engaging with customers via phone calls, screenshares or in-person
  • Ensuring customers' deployments are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Supporting our Cyber Technologist team with technical aspects of deployments

For this role you need to be tenacious, driven and have the following skill set:

  • A scientific, computer science or engineering degree
  • 2+ years' experience of support and incident response procedures and practices
  • Highly technical understanding of networking principles
  • Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot software and/or networking issues
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of cyber security technologies is desirable
