We have a really exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with our client in Kent who design and manufacture bespoke precision metal products for heat and magnetic protection.

This company are truly one of a kind as they are the only business in the UK operating within this market, and one of only a few in the whole World. The demand of their products within medical, scientific research and space sectors has meant they are now getting more work than they can keep up with, hence the current growth plans and continued expansion over the coming years.

To keep up with this increased headcount, next year the company will open their brand-new production facility which will see production double with the start of a whole new shift of workers to meet their customer's demands.

Their key requirement is for Mechanical Engineers who have full lifecycle design experience, from concept design, 2D/3D modelling, engineering drawings and designing for manufacture, tolerance analysis as well as maintenance and design improvement considerations.

Their products are typically manufactured with precision sheet metal and machined products, so a background dealing with these types of products, in any application, would be highly advantageous for this position.

The company is based in a very accessible location by bus, train or by car where there is free on-site parking. Of course, they are happy to offer a hybrid working environment too meaning you certainly won't have to face a daily commute every day of the week, with remote working options also available.
