Senior Quality Environment, Health and Safety Engineer

Our client is a global innovator and manufacturer of industrial equipment and tools from vacuum solutions, air treatment systems, construction tools and assembly systems. They are looking for a Senior Quality Environment, Health and Safety Engineer to join their growing team.

The role:

To support SHEQ based decisions and actions of the senior management team both within and outside of product company.
To continually improve management systems at by identifying issues and working proactively within local and global teams to improve processes.
To deliver the effective and efficient end to end coordination of internal and external audit non-conformance.
To influence business decisions by bringing a data and fact-based approach to the continual improvement of our SHEQ management systems.

Responsibilities:

To drive the effective implementation and improvement of the SHEQ Document Management System at product company Clevedon in line with Atlas Copco global requirements, international standards, and customer requirements.
Maintain the site Internal SHEQ Audit programme in line with business risks and management systems requirements.
Conduct Business Management System audits in line with the integrated audit plan ensuring follow up and support of interested parties to resolve any identified corrective actions.
Maintain the execution of the site SHEQ Document management system contributing to the maintenance, upgrade, and development of quality control procedures in line with business, ISO, and customer requirements.

What they want from you:

Business or technically based degree is preferable.
Lead auditor for ISO9001:2015 (or experience and prepared to work towards IRCA Lead Audit level)
At least one-year recent experience in a Quality position within an ISO 9001, AS9100 or TS16949 certified organisation.
Familiar with the practical application of OHSAS 18001(or ISO 45001), ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards
Demonstrable problem-solving skills applying appropriate tools and techniques to a situation. Knowledge of 8D, Ishikawa & 5 Why as a minimum.
