Senior Trade Compliance Officer

What we're looking for:

Due to our recent success securing multiple new contracts, we now require talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey.

We're looking to hire a Senior Trade compliance officer to join our Security and Licencing Manager to lead on the delivery of a major programme for the Royal Navy as well as support on other defense contracts. You will be the Trade Compliance lead on all UK Export & US ITAR regulations and advise the project team as well as assisting the other members of the Trade Compliance team with queries and training.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be involved in a CAT A delivery and create and implement process', ensure trade compliance culture and be part of a growing team within our Bristol offices. This is an excellent chance to join us at a time of growth and pick up many other responsibilities within the business.

Responsibilities will include:

· Supporting the programme with international and domestic export licencing requirements.

· Ensuring trade control/licencing plans and approved persons lists are implemented and upheld

· Aid in training peers on controlled goods.

· Engage with customers on queries

· Support audits and closure actions.

What we're looking for:

· Advanced knowledge of import and export procedures

· A real self motivator able to deliver within a small team

· Excellent knowledge of UK & US Trade regulations including -

• TAAs, GCs

• DSP-5 & Commerce Licences

· Excellent stakeholder management and reporting
