My client, a household brand and global FMCG business are looking for a Shift Product Technician to join the team near Shrewsbury. In this role you will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and will be responsible for ensuring product sampling and swabbing plans are completed. This includes sample collection, logging and despatch to labs, calibrating equipment, conduction trial swabs prior to production and ensuring all micro, chemical, physical and temperatures targets are met with the use of ATP equipment.

You will also best support taste panel process, carrying out trend analysis and implemented corrective actions as well as general helping the Quality team to maintain and uplift the hygiene /GMP standards across production areas.

To be successful in the role you will need:

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene.
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to deal with people at all levels, internally and externally, with the credibility to make a significant impact within the business.
  • Open-minded approach to flexible/shift working.
  • Attention to detail and a tenacious approach to resolving issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office FMS & WMS.
  • Basic working knowledge of HACCP.


In return you will receive a salary between £18,200 - £29,400 DOE.
