Our Training and Simulation division is continuing to grow and we are looking for Systems Engineers of all levels to join the team. You would be working on training solutions for the maritime environment and part of a team that will be defining both systems and software solutions for synthetic environments, enabling the future training solutions for the Royal Navy.
The Selborne Training system consists of off the shelf packages and plug-ins and combined with visual systems to create an immersive simulation environment. This means that the role will offer an excellent chance to bring knowledge of hardware, software and commercials together to deliver the programme.
Responsibilities will include:
Plan and conduct systems engineering tasks
Part of a team conducting a major part of the integration and systems design.
Recommend, test and perform installation upgrades
Liaise with suppliers regarding hardware & software
Overview Quality, Safety & Security compliance
What we're looking for:
Systems engineering experience
Architectural understanding (UML, TOGAF)
Experience of systems networking and hardware
IBM Rhapsody, DOORS
Experience of simulation / software integration (desirable)
Programming experience (desirable)
