Software Project Manager

I'm currently seeking a Software Project Leader to join a Defence company based in Filton. The company, formed by a three way joint venture of Leonardo, Airbus and BAE, work with over 100 armed forces worldwide and just last year generated over 6 billion pounds in revenue!

They're looking for someone to come in and lead a team of 8 software engineers in the development and delivery of world class weapon subsystem software in to both the UK and wider, international product portfolio.

The role encompasses 3 sections; Project Management, Technical Leadership and Team Building. This means you won't just be getting involved in ensuring projects are completed to time, cost and quality but you'll get involved in training up the team, technical discussions and stakeholder management.

Skills Required: Software Background, Project Management, Ability to negotiate with Stakeholders.

They are able to offer a salary of up to £60,000 plus benefits which include annual pay reviews, 8% pension, 12:30 finish on Fridays, flexible working, paid overtime, 25 days holiday (+8 bank holidays).
