Software Team Lead - C++/Java software

iO have partnered with an organisation looking for a Software Team Lead to lead a team of developers through a brand-new project for the Royal Navy, worth around £1bn.

The plans are to completely revolutionise the old legacy version and start from scratch to create a project which is expected to be the world's leading Naval project of its kind.

The role will include writing software development plans, deriving software requirements and encouraging the team to produce functional P2P & web-based software products.

The team are strongly Agile, so we're looking for someone who has experience with team leadership with potentially experience as a Scrum Master.

Role: Software Team Lead

Location: Bristol

Salary: £60,000-£65,000+ (depending on experience)

Skills: leadership with a hands-on C++ and Java background.
