System Engineer | Bristol

What we're looking for:

Due to our recent success securing multiple new contracts, we now require talented individuals to join us on this exciting journey.

The EW & ISTAR Business Unit within Elbit Systems UK (ESUK) is delivering several capabilities to the UK Armed Forces and requires a System Engineer to be the technical lead of a Land-based systems project and support wider opportunities within the Business Unit.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support in developing system architecture
  • Producing and validating requirements
  • Writing sub-system specifications
  • Support the developing of integration plans and procedures
  • Support the setting up systems for tests and trials
  • Any additional tasks to ensure the success of the role and to support Elbit's Engineering function

What we're looking for:

  • Understanding of INCOSE and whole life-cycle management of the systems, from concept, architecture, design, and evaluation
  • Thorough understanding of ISO standards (15288 and 42010)
  • Thorough understanding of design methodologies such as SysML/UML
  • Software Tools: DOORS / IBM Rhapsody
  • Previous Electronic Warfare experience (highly beneficial)
  • Prior experience in leading projects
