Technical Director - Automation & Integration

iO Associates have partnered with a Bristol based Systems Integrator for a very exciting hire in the companies development.

Specialist in Process Industry Automation & Control, this client have achieved far beyond what it was though possible in their entry into the UK market owing to their focus on quality; leadership and management of Automation & Control projects.

They are now recruiting for a Technical Director to bring them into their next phase of development and really grow the business, while also bring their own vision and values to the organisation.

As you can imagine, this is a pivotal position for the business and they are looking for an individual who has genuine passion and motivation to make the most out of their careers. This role will ultimately suit someone who has experience in managing large scale projects (and ideally people) within a Process Automation setting who feels that they are ready to take the step into business ownership.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need:

• Experience in Leadership (project or people)
• Working within an Automation & Integration Background
• An understanding of life-cycle control systems development

The key thing to note is that this is not an Engineer level appointment so they do not want someone that will be consistently "on the tools" but rather someone who is able to scope projects effectively and inspire people to deliver.
Couple this with a commercial acumen and a vision for how Systems Integration can build and move forward and we have the right person!
