Trading Support Engineer - L2 / FIX Protocol *URGENT*

£400 per day.

We are urgently seeking 3 x contract application support engineers with specific experience withing L2 Production support and FIX Protocol. This is 6 month contract and you must be available to start immediately. This job will be 50% remote / 50% on site in London.

• Domain Skills : Trading Basics, Trade Markets Overview, Various Asset Classes, Trading Front Office knowledge

• Tech Skills : FIX Protocol, L2 Production Support

• Scripting - Shell scripting , PowerShell, Unix scripts in ksh/bash, Perl, Python.
  • • Sybase, SQL & RDBMS E1 knowledge

• Infra Skill : Linux/Unix/Solaris - regular command line usage, File system management, User administration
• Networking: TCP\IP, WAN, LAN, FTP, SFTP, Packet Capture Experience with process schedulers (eg cron, FTP job scheduler

• DevOps and concepts - Chef, Puppet, Github, Jenkins

• Monitoring tools - Compass, ITRS, Nagios
