I'm now working with a massive client who specialise in digital innovation. They were established over 20 years ago and have a global footprint with 50+ offices in 15+ countries. They're currently looking for a UI Designer who'll be responsible for creating resounding, pixel-perfect and meaningful digital experiences, collaborating with UX and development teams to create customer friendly designs that are both simple and pleasurable to use.

Role Overview

The UI Designer is responsible for creating amazing, pixel-perfect and meaningful digital experiences, working alongside UX and development teams to create customer centric designs that are simple and pleasurable to use.

As a UI Designer, you will:

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and UX strategists to understand a customer experience.
  • Creating wireframes, designs and prototypes with appropriate UX thinking.
  • Conceptualise and propose ranges of visual concepts for digital products in sympathy with brand guidelines and behavioural data.
  • Translating customer insights into designed experiences and forming a compelling story around it.
  • Work on cross-platform applications to develop connected experiences for fully responsive layouts.
  • Be confident in presenting creative work to the internal team and clients alike, ensuring that designs meet the requirements of the brief.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Minimum 5 years' industry/digital agency experience preferable with an associated portfolio.
  • Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail.
  • Proven UI experience including interaction design, responsive design.
  • Experience in creating pixel perfect designs using knowledge of design standards, guidelines and how these can support customer experience.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe XD (essential!) Good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Sprint development process.
