iO Associates are currently working with a cutting-edge energy company based in the Hampshire area, who are looking to onboard an Embedded Software Engineer on an initial 6-month contract basis.

The client has a core focus on energy sustainability and have made some huge moves in the industry over the past few years. Due to this growth, they need additional resource to contribute towards product portfolio and customer demand.

Day to day, you will work on their renewable energy devices, concentrating on the development of Motor/Power control, using RTOS written in C.

Key skills required:

• Firmware and Bare-metal development
• Motor Control experience i.e motor drivers/invertors (beneficial)
• RTOS and C

Although the contract is initially 6 months, there is scope for the project to be longer term, offering you that contract longevity.
