Mechanical Design Engineer

An opportunity has arisen to join a Mechanical Engineering Team near Coventry to be part of a company developing a simply revolutionary new product.

This well-established design, development and manufacturing company have recently moved into their brand-new, purpose-built facilities and are continuing to grow as the demand for their products increases within multiple pivotal sectors all across the World.

The current team of eight Mechanical Engineers are looking to grow with the addition of a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on the product development of their turbomachinery and fuel system designs.

If you enjoy the industrial side of Engineering and perhaps already have exposure to industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, Defence or Nuclear then you will feel right at home in this hands-on environment.

My client is ideally looking for someone with experience across a broad range of relevant component designs (machined parts, piping & pipe fittings, electrical harnesses, sheet metal work, tooling & jigs), a thorough understanding of BS8888 and GD&T as well as excellent CAD skills. You will have at least 5 years proven experience using 3D CAD (preferably with Solidworks and PDM/PLM systems, but training can be provided for the right candidate).

In return my client is offering a competitive salary up to £50,000 Per Annum, private medical insurance, pension contribution, hybrid working, life assurance and 33 days holiday entitlement (including Bank Holidays).
